Pipe View was engaged to complete a CCTV inspection and location of an existing sewer main in Ipswich. The works formed part of a Build Over Asset (BOA) application, requiring council-compliant QUU reporting to assess the condition and position of the main before construction proceeded.

Using our iPEK Rovver robotic CCTV crawler, we surveyed the full length of the affected sewer main, recording high-resolution video and detailed asset data. Electronic locating equipment was then used to pinpoint the line’s alignment and depth, ensuring precise mapping for the proposed build.

The inspection provided clear visual evidence of the main’s condition and accurate positional data. This information was delivered to the client as a complete WinCan report, MPEG video footage, and a location plan, enabling a smooth submission process for their Build Over Asset application.
