Pipe View was engaged to carry out a pre-construction CCTV inspection of an existing sewer main in Carina Heights. The inspection was a requirement for a Build Over Asset (BOA) application, ensuring Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU) could review the condition of the asset before work commenced.

Our iPEK Rovver robotic CCTV crawler was deployed to inspect the section of sewer impacted by the proposed works. The survey captured high-definition video, noted all connection points, and assessed the internal condition of the pipe for any defects or obstructions. All data was recorded in WinCan format for QUU compliance.

The inspection confirmed the sewer main was in serviceable condition, with no immediate defects affecting the planned construction. The client received a complete WinCan report, MPEG video footage, and supporting documentation for submission with their Build Over Asset application.
